Loch Raven
Loch Raven will be open for bow hunting this year. Finally a place close to home.

My best advice is don't use any cat eyes or markers or hunt where you can be seen from any trail. I used to hunt Liberty and guys would be in my stand trees as they did not want to scout on their own. I know a couple good spots up liberty, but they are hard to get to and that is why they are good spots. Very thick and best with a recurve as you have to shoot fast.

I still have my recurves. I used to hunt some pretty thick stuff at Liberty and Prettyboy. Less then 10 yard shot was not ucommon.

I drew on a doe one time as Liberty that was 5 yards quartering away with an aluminum arrow on a Bear Black bear bow and an Easton 2118 I think. She heard the arrow slide across that seal skin rest, so I nailed her fast.

Nothing like being that close for a shot to really get your blod pumping.
